The Phased Array IFF Antenna is used to radiate Interrogation pulses and to receive reply to pulses from the interrogated Target. The antenna is consists of radiating panels connected to Digital Phase Shifters to form a Phase Scanned Array. Four such antenna units provide 360-degree Az coverage. The Digital Phase Shifters are interfaced with Digital Interface Unit (BSU-DDC) for data Distribution which is further interfaced with BSU. The antenna has three radiation patterns from the same aperture, viz., Interrogate/SUM, CONTROL and DELTA.
