Air Defence Fire Control Radar-ATULYA, in conjunction with Anti-Aircraft Guns, forms a Ground Based Air Defence System. The main purpose is effective point defence against all air threats, which includes fighter Aircrafts, Helicopters, and UAVs, at short and very short ranges during day and night, under all weather conditions and also in the presence of enemy jamming.
CAPABILITIES:
- Search the designated air space, detect and track aerial targets
- Classify & identify them as Friend/Foe
- Perform the threat evaluation
- Assign and Control the Air Defence Guns to neutralize the threat
