BE Long Range Observation System (BELROS) is a state of the art electro-optic system used to carry out effective surveillance and reconnaissance of potential area up to 20KM in day and night conditions. ILROS comprises sensors of Day Camera, Thermal Imaging camera, Short Wave IR Camera, Laser Range Finder, Digital Magnetic compass and Global Positioning system with IRNSS compatibility. These sensors are mounted on a pan and tilt platform and remotely controlled through a Control and Display unit (CDU) for a distance up to 100m through wired connection. The system is capable of providing the correction data to the user for Direction of Own Artillery Firing (DOOAF) and is also capable of calculating, storing and maintaining of the target coordinates in target bank. The system can be operable on both AC power source and DC power source. The system is incorporated with Panoramic view, Change detection and Video Annotation features.
