The Bharat Electronics 1.8-meter transportable VSAT antenna system, Model BE180KU is designed for satellite communication operation. The transportable antenna consists of a single-piece composite reflector (CFRP) mounted on an elevation-over-azimuth positioner. The antenna is light weight, has excellent stiffness and high performance under wind load conditions. The antenna exhibits low side lobe and cross polarization performance to meet ITU-580.6 requirements. The antenna system can be mounted over light weight vehicles for transportable VSAT applications.
