DIGITAL FLIGHT CONTROL COMPUTER (DFCC-Mk1)

– DFCC is a quad redundant flight critical computer, based on Intel 80960 32-bit microprocessor for Digital Fly-By-Wire Flight Control System of LCA which controls the maneuvering of (Pitch, Yaw and Roll) the Aircraft.

–  Reception of pilot’s inputs such as control stick, rudder pedal, trim inputs,  etc by DFCC and processing them along with other aircraft sensor inputs.

– Computation of control surface commands based on control law

– Driving the control surface actuators and controlling the aircraft.

– High speed serial links connect these 4 channels under the control of redundancy management software to perform system failure detection & control reconfiguration.
