e-Nasika ACADA is a compact, rugged and man portable Automatic Chemical Agent Detector and Alarm (ACADA) based on Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Sensor Technology.
It is mainly used to detect, monitor and identify Chemical Warfare Agents in the battle field and provide audio and visual alarm of a chemical attack.
ACADA can be deployed at strategically identified location / points in own area. With the application of Remote Alarm Device it gives the audio and visual alarm of a chemical strike before contamination reaches troops and enables them to wear protective equipment and maintain operational effectiveness.
