HCRR provides reliable and secure tactical communication links in a hostile Electronic Warfare (EW) environment. It is a full duplex communication equipment, designed to operate through line of-sight radio path, for military application. The radio is provided with an Engineering Order Wire (EOW) service.

The solution is based on an Indoor Unit (IDU) and Outdoor Unit (ODU) configuration.

(i) The ODU is a radio unit and is mounted on the antenna. The antenna alignment is done both by using an electronically controlled rotator and manually. The rotator of the ODU and antenna assembly can be done from the ground or from inside the shelter.

(ii) Indoor unit is placed either in a static shelter or mobile vehicle and provides various baseband interfaces (such as E1, E3, Ethernet).
