Key System Features

  • Passive Surveillance Sonar that uses a cylindrical array, Front end, processing and display electronics. Enables detection, localization and tracking of surface and sub-surface targets. Also includes spectral information processing of tracked targets for classification.
  • The Active Sonar uses a planar array for ranging and Doppler estimation of targets. Power Amplifier modules are used to amplify the signal to the required source level.
  • Detecting active transmission of other vessels and aiding in long range detection of targets.
  • Under Water Communication System – Supports Voice, Data, Message and Pinger modes of operation, Operates in both the EKM and NATO Bands.
  • Mine Hunting and Obstacle Avoidance Sonar Uses a planar forward looking array for operations in the littoral such as mine and collision avoidance capabilities for aiding navigation.
  • Standardized modular architecture for efficient packing of electronics for better maintainability and reliability. User Friendly GUI and Proven Processing algorithms allowing operation in Dual and Single operator modes.
  • Integrated Continuous real-time self-noise monitoring using hydrophones and accelerometers.
  • Measures the speed of sound in water columns providing comprehensive SVR plots and enabling sonar performance modeling.
  • Data recorder records acoustic sonar streams as well as own ship data (Such as Course, Speed, Depth, etc) for lab analysis.
