Real-Time Train information System (RTIS) enables the Indian Railways to acquire the positional and other vital information of Locomotives though Satellite and Mobile data networks at a central Data Centre without any manual intervention from Loco Pilot or station staff. The system involves the Loco Device installed on the Locomotive along with Satellite MSS Hub and Data Centre at Railway data Centre, New Delhi.
