The Shallow Water Remotely Operated Vehicle (SROV) is an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle. SROV is controlled remotely by operator on a ship using joysticks by monitoring Video signal, Sonar data and all parameters from various sensors of SROV. SROV is connected to the ship by cable called an umbilical or tether that contains lines running communications and power to the vehicle.

The SROV can explore the sub-sea world at depths that the divers are often unable to reach. The SROV includes frame mounted with various configurations of Propellers for mobility; navigation systems for orientation and positioning; camera and LED lights systems for recording; buoyancy-foam for stability and other attachments such as manipulators.
