LAB Doctor
The doctor has a facility to order for lab investigations during consultation of a patient for proper diagnosis of the disease. The ordering physician’s details, along with their unique identifier, establish accountability and facilitate seamless communication. Lab Module is designed specially to streamline the diverse activities of laboratories in the areas of Hematology, Microbiology, Histology / Cytology, Biochemistry, Virology etc. It also covers radiological functions and investigative procedures. It allows flexibility in the interfacing of laboratory equipment and the ease of accessing information from database. Lab Module captures information related to various investigations required for the routine
functioning of the hospital. Conducting number of investigative tests and making the results available promptly is a crucial step for accessing the patient’s medical status and for the further course of action. The whole system will work based on BAR Coded system
Billing
Patient Billing Module is an integral component of the Hospital Information System. The application provides various types of hospital services i.e. In-patient, Outpatient and Emergency to various categories of patients such as senior citizen, staff & their dependants, poor / free, Government / Charitable organizations, insurance covered etc. Payments are collected on different accounts i.e. registration charges, OT charges, diet charges, lab charges, bed / room charges, miscellaneous charges like issue of blood bag units, day care etc.
