BEL has adopted a well-structured approach to enhance exports:

a. Defence Electronics products and systems to foreign countries

BEL has been exporting chosen defence electronics equipment to foreign countries. Having established healthy relationship with existing and prospective customers, we interact closely with MEA and MoD to identify opportunities.

True to our core value propositions of delivering customized solution and long-term support, we offer product upgrade solutions to help our customers derive maximum value out of their investments.

b. Diversified product portfolio for civilian markets

BEL offers its products and systems for civil application including medical equipment, smart city, solar power generation, EV, IoT, critical infrastructure, security package for VVIP areas to name a few.

c. Support foreign OEMs in meeting their offset obligations

BEL is focussing on opportunities in supporting OEMs to meet their offset obligations in various RFPs of the MoD on account of the offset policy incorporated in Defence Procurement Procedure. Towards this, company is working and partnering with major foreign aerospace and defence companies by offering proven products, contract manufacturing and Transfer of Technology in chosen areas.

d. Partnership with leading Aerospace and Defence companies for Co-development and Co-production to establish robust, long-term global supply chain. BEL is committed to ‘Make in India’ programmes. We have offered our products and services to major platform OEMs and their Tier-I/II suppliers. This has forged mutually beneficial partnerships for co-development and co-production and our products and services are being utilized not only for Indian programmes but also for global requirements.

e. Electronics Manufacturing Services

BEL possesses dedicated product engineering teams, state-of-the art production and test facilities and necessary quality and industry-specific certifications to offer entire gamut of electronics manufacturing services on ‘Build-to-Specs’ and ‘Build-to-Print’ basis.

Our unique strength lies in strong global vendor base in professional electronics ecosystems developed over 50 years, which has seen us excel even during disruption in supply chain. Through this, our customers are at reduced risk in terms of supplies as well as quality.

Owing to our genesis in defence domain, the confidentiality of information is deeply rooted in our system. Through our strong information security management systems and emphasis on intellectual capital, our customers can be rest assured that their IP rights are protected.

f. Expanding Global Presence

BEL has expanded its network of overseas marketing offices in Vietnam, Oman, Sri Lanka, ASEAN countries to enhance geographical reach. This outreach is aimed at aggressively pursuing G2G opportunities, increased participation in tenders and close interaction with customers.

Thrust on marketing efforts being given through on-boarding of marketing representatives in South East Asia, Middle East, Africa, North and Latin America.
