Awards – this is for BEL awards
- Two awards at the annual Aerospace & Defence Awards organised by International Aerospace — for ‘Excellence in Exports’ and ‘Excellence in Contribution Towards Positive Social Impacts (CSR)’.
- Business World Digital India Award for ‘Best Initiative in Transport and Mobility’ in the Government sector for ‘SWAGAT’, the Automatic Fare Collection Gating System jointly developed by BEL & Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC).
- ‘Governance Now’ Awards for Research & Innovation, HR Excellence and Geo-Strategic Reach.
- Product Development & Innovation Center (PDIC) at Bengaluru has been certified for implementation of Information Security Management System in accordance with ISO IEC 2001:2013 by TUV SUD for the Scope of Design & Development of Products, Systems and Sub-systems for various Technologies and support functions.
- Corporate Office secured the First Prize for excellence in OL implementation for FY 2019-20 (Large Office Category) and Third Prize for its Hindi Magazine ‘Nava Prabha’ by TOLIC (Undertakings), Bengaluru.
- CMD BEL was conferred the Dalal Street Investment Journal’s PSU Award of the Year 2019 Roll of Honor in recognition and appreciation of the contribution made to the company in 2019 under the Most Efficient & Fastest Growing Navratna: Manufacturing category.
- BEL Engineers won Society for Defence Technologists (SODET) Awards for the years 2018-19 & 2019-20, instituted by SODET. BEL has won a total of six awards in the categories of Technology Development and Technology Innovation.
- Mr Shrinivas Rao, Officer (OL)/CO, received Rajbhasha Gaurav Award (Second Prize) under Non-Hindi Category for 2018-19.
BEL received Rajbhasha Kirti Award (Second Prize) under PSU category (‘C’ Region, i.e. Non-Hindi Region) for 2019-20.
