CRL’s focus spans both foundational and applied research, aiming to craft pioneering solutions that tackle complex challenges in defense and related fields. The lab’s breakthroughs significantly enrich BEL’s product offerings, bolstering its capability to provide high-performance, reliable, and cost-effective solutions to its customers. CRL is engaged in the development of state-of-the-art solutions across diverse domains including Secure Military Communications, RF and Microwave Systems, Radar and Signal Processing, Wireless Networks, Electronic Warfare, Cryptography and Cyber Security, Electro-optics and Photonics, Embedded and Smart Computing Systems, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Autonomous and Unmanned Systems, Aerospace Technologies, and emerging fields such as Quantum Computing. Through indigenous design and development, CRL enables BEL to deliver mission-critical systems for the Indian Armed Forces and strategic sectors, supporting national objectives of technological self-reliance, defence modernization, and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
