Multi-Function Radar (MFR -X)
The Multi-Function Radar (MFR) is a cost effective and cutting-edge Naval RADAR system that utilises non-rotating active phased array technology. It is a four-wall configuration providing comprehensive 3600 coverage in Azimuth and upto 700 in elevation, making it an ideal solution for surveillance, tracking and Missile guidance. The MFR can be interfaced with the Weapon Control System / Missile System and Other external interfaces.

- MFR has four phased array antennas covering 90° each to provide 360° azimuth coverage.
- The elevation coverage is 0° to 70°.
- MFR is based on solid state active array technology and is capable of electronic scanning in both azimuth and elevation.
- Instrumented range: ≥ 200 KM in Threat Alert While Scan(TAWS) Mode and 300 KM in Long Range Search (LRS) Mode
- The Radar is electronically stabilised to cater to Ship Roll and pitch.
- Graceful Degradation of System Performance due to distributed design of T/R Modules.
- Target designation and data to Combat Management System (CMS) and Weapon Control System (WCS).
