Bengaluru, May 7, 2026: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has been declared as the “Winner” in the 4th edition of the Free Press Journal and CareEdge Annual Report Awards (Aerospace & Defence category).

Mr Sabhari V, AGM (Finance)/CO, and Mr Gopal, Deputy Company Secretary, received the award for BEL at the awards ceremony held yesterday in Mumbai.

The awards recognised companies across sectors for excellence in annual reporting, bringing together some of India’s most respected corporate leaders, policymakers, investors, and governance experts to celebrate excellence in corporate reporting, transparency, and stakeholder accountability, and encourage better disclosures, stronger governance, and greater investor trust across corporate India.

Bengaluru, May 5, 2026: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, valued at Rs. 1,251 Crore (excluding taxes) for supply of Ground Based Mobile ELINT System (GBMES) to the Indian Army. The GBMES is a totally indigenous, state-of-the-art system designed and developed by DLRL, Hyderabad, and manufactured by BEL.

The networked intelligence system is capable of detecting, classifying and locating all types of radars. The system also intercepts and analyses all communication signals. The GBMES system enhances the situational awareness and Air Defence capabilities of the country.

Bengaluru, May 4, 2026: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Metamind Systems Private Limited and Kristellar Aerospace Private Limited today signed a tripartite MoU in Bengaluru for co-operation and co-development of future-ready products and technologies in the areas of Cyber Security, Electronic Warfare &Avionics, Semiconductors, Data Centre, etc, for both Defence and Non-Defence segments.

Metamind is an Indian technology firm specialising in AI-driven Data Analytics and Digital Transformation solutions for sectors like Aerospace, Defense, Healthcare Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services (ITES). Kristellar is a next-generation Indian Aerospace & Defence technology startup engaged in the design, development and manufacture of mission-critical products/systems/solutions in Aerospace and Defence technologies, in the areas of Cyber Security, Electronic Warfare & Avionics (EW&A), Semiconductor, Data Center, etc. Kristellar’s business portfolio encompasses CubeSat Systems & Mission Delivery, Aerospace Propulsion, Radar, RF, EW & Secure Communications, AI and Cognitive Defence Systems.

The Tripartite MoU aims to leverage their complementary strengths in business facilitation and technological innovation. By combining BEL’s manufacturing capabilities and marketing outreach, Metamind’s expertise in strategic government relations, project governance and operational management, and Kristellar’s advanced R&D capabilities and systems engineering, the collaboration will enhance competitiveness, mitigate execution risks and ensure the delivery of scalable, future-ready solutions, thereby maximising the long-term value and success of projects undertaken.

With the objective of strengthening indigenous capabilities and supporting the Government of India’s Make in India initiative, the companies aim to co-operate in the areas of advanced technology development, manufacturing and supply of Aerospace & Defence systems, electronic modules and sub-systems in the areas of Cyber Security, EW&A, mass manufacturing of Semiconductor technologies, Data Center and other products/systems/solutions for the Indian Defence and Non-Defence segments promoting Mission Atmanirbhar Bharat, and for enhancing the export potential of “Make In India” products and integrated systems.

Bengaluru, April 22, 2026: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured orders worth Rs. 569 Crore commencing the order acquisition for the current financial year 2026-27.

 

Major orders received include avionics, EW system, high energy laser, communication equipment, tank sub systems, laser based fuzes, test equipment, upgrades, spares, services etc.

Bangalore, April 21, 2026: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading Indian aerospace and defence company, and Bit Mapper Integration Technologies Pvt Ltd (BMIT), a global provider of Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) solutions, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the design, development and manufacturing of advanced electronic modules, subsystems, and systems for defence electronics and aerospace, specifically targeting critical technology domains such as Electronic Warfare (EW), Naval Radars and Drones.

Bengaluru, April 3, 2026: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has obtained the Licence to Manufacture (for sale/distribution) its indigenously developed Hemodialysis machine, BEL RxT17.

BEL RxT17, designed by M/s Renalyx and to be manufactured by BEL, is one of India’s first indigenous Hemodialysis machines, a significant milestone for India’s Medtech sector. It is a boon for patients suffering from chronic renal failure, facilitating safe, efficient and high-quality dialysis therapy. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) granted BEL the manufacturing license after the compliance audit for Class C regulatory requirements pertaining to high-risk device safety and performance standards. BEL RxT17 is CE Certified, confirming compliance with European safety, health and environmental standards, and enabling its global market acceptance.

 

Driven by a surge in the cases of End-Stage Renal Disease, the demand for dialysis is increasing rapidly in India, and the BEL RxT17 aims to improve accessibility and affordability of dialysis care.

 

BEL RxT17 features a colour touchscreen display that provides an advanced user interface with real-time information on device status, readings and active alarms. It is equipped with both audio and visual alarms for critical conditions. The machine is designed to be compatible with all standard pharmacy consumables and disposables, ensuring seamless integration into existing hospital workflows. Its simple design focuses on ease of maintenance and straightforward operation for healthcare providers.

 

BEL RxT17 reduces dependence on imported dialysis machines and strengthens India’s domestic Medtech manufacturing ecosystem. It is a step toward building globally competitive, high-quality medical technologies in India, in line with the Government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Bengaluru, March 31, 2026: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs. 6795 Crores since the last disclosure on 30th March 2026.

Orders received include mountain radars from MoD, Avionics package for LCA from HAL, major export order for communication equipment, electronic fuzes, strategic components, upgrades, spares, services, etc.

Bengaluru, April 1, 2026: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of around Rs.26,750 Cr (Provisional & Unaudited), during the Financial Year 2025-26, against the previous year’s turnover of Rs.23,024 Cr registering a growth of 16.2%. This includes Export sales of around US$ 141.9 Million during FY 2025-26, as against the previous year’s export turnover of US$ 106.17 Million, registering a growth of 33.65%.

 

During the fiscal year 2025-26, BEL secured orders worth Rs.30,000 Cr including export orders worth USD 346 Million. Some of the major orders received during the year in defence include Avionics for LCA, Mountain Radars, EW suite for Helicopters, Air Defence Radars, EOIR Payloads for Airborne  and Naval platforms, EW systems for Naval platforms, Fire Control & Sighting System for Tanks, Mobile Communication Terminal, Network systems, Counter Unmanned Aerial System, Upgrades, Spares and Services.

 

The major orders in non-defence sector include communication equipment, IT Infra for AIIMS, Airport Surveillance Radars, Software solutions, Automatic Train Supervision System, EVM, etc. On the export front, the major orders received include communication equipment, Satellite communication network, TR modules, electronic fuzes, drones, etc. With this, the total Order Book of BEL, as on 1^st April 2026, stands at around Rs.74000 Cr including an Export Order Book of USD 495 Million.
